• Promote and ensure early engagement of Procurement activities and throughout project cycle
• Increased level of supplier management and contract coverage throughout the supply chain
• Design and drive strategic initiatives to fulfill business requirements for goods and services
• Ensure supply base is developed to a high standard in line with the strategic objectives of Grid Technology service, meeting growth and portfolio requirements
• Managing supply chain risk in a changing market
• Increase productivity, whilst continually improving and standardizing processes, brining digital solutions to improve efficiency
• Ensure compliance, governance and safety are held at the highest standard
• Lead, develop and empower the strategic team within region Europe
• Communicate efficiently and professionally with internal and external stakeholders with the ability to challenge status quo with respect and clarity
• Be collaborative and responsive to business needs
• Execute procurement activities with agility and result orientation

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a Business, Procurement, or Supply Chain
• A minimum of 10 years of experience required within Procurement & Supply Chain
• Motivational, experienced multinational leader with clear understanding of European law and directives
• Strategic opportunity seeker with the drive to make and lead change
• An excellent communicator with collaborative problem-solving capabilities
• A passion for people and their development
• Knowledge of implementing successful contracts for complex services
• Project procurement experience in a similar environment
• Experience of procuring low volume legacy components and securing their availability.
• Critical thinking and analytical decision making
• Excellent English language skills with German language skills an advantage
• Availability to work from the office as well as to travel frequently, primarily across Europe, to support regional operations and engage with key stakeholders
