How you’ll make a difference

• Strategic Architecture & Technology Direction
• Define and implement the long-term vision for software and data architecture across the GET portfolio.
• Monitor and influence the adoption of emerging technologies like cloud, microservices, and AI/ML.
• Establish architectural standards and serve as a technical advisor to executive leadership.
• Platform Development & Deployment
• Lead the development and management of reusable platforms and services.
• Ensure compliance with Product and System Security (PSS) controls.
• Oversee the technology stack and platform roadmap, focusing on scalability and cost-effectiveness.
• Drive DevOps and automation practices to enhance development speed and quality.
• Leadership & Operational Management
• Provide strategic direction for the Architecture, Platforms & Technology Enablers function.
• Manage budgets and resources aligned with business objectives.
• Foster a culture of innovation and collaborate with related organizations for alignment.

What you bring
We are seeking a skilled candidate to join our team, bringing long experience in technology and architecture, leadership, and process execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and a proven track record of managing technical teams while driving strategic initiatives.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software development with a focus on architecture.
• Proven senior leadership experience (Director or equivalent) managing multiple technical teams.
• Fluent in English, written and oral.

Technology & Architecture:

• Expertise in microservices and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Proficient in Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
• Strong understanding of the technology market.

Leadership & Strategy:

• Excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in product management and continuous improvement.
• Proactive, results-driven mindset.

Process & Execution:

• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to define and execute technology strategy for enterprise-level platforms in a global context.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
