A Snapshot of Your Day
Join us as a Hardware Engineer (m/f/d) Overhead Line Monitoring and take the lead in designing and developing innovative sensor systems! You will focus on vibration and optical sensors tailored for large-scale manufacturing environments. With your strong background in PCB design and component selection, you will create robust hardware solutions that meet demanding operational requirements. Imagine being part of a team that innovates from first principles while adhering to industry best practices and standards, ensuring that our sensors operate reliably even in the harshest conditions.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- You will design and develop sensor hardware from concept to production, emphasizing vibration and optical sensing technologies
- Create PCB layouts and schematics, ensuring optimal performance, manufacturability, and compliance with relevant standards
- Apply your automotive hardware engineering experience to develop robust, scalable sensors for industrial and manufacturing contexts
- Ensure designs meet stringent environmental, reliability, and safety standards required in automotive and large-scale manufacturing sectors
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams—including software, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers—to deliver integrated sensor solutions
- Drive innovation in sensor technology by researching and implementing new materials, methods, and technologies
What You Bring
- Proven experience in hardware design for vibration and optical sensors, ideally in large-scale manufacturing or automotive applications
- Strong proficiency in PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, Eagle, or similar) and hardware prototyping
- In-depth understanding of sensor physics, signal conditioning, and noise mitigation techniques
- Demonstrated ability to manage component obsolescence, supplier engagement, and lifecycle planning
- Experience with Power Energy industry and UAV standards is highly beneficial
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to project delivery
- Proficient in English, with excellent spoken and written communication skills
