A Snapshot of Your Day
As an HMI Specialist - Product Development Support, your day involves collaborating with the product development team to support HMI/SCADA and substation automation concepts, assisting with technical clarifications for customers and partners, configuring automation systems under supervision, contributing to PLM and quality processes, and preparing technical documentation—all while building expertise in energy transmission technologies and engaging in ongoing learning and teamwork.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Support the product development team in HMI/SCADA and Substation Automation concepts
- Assist in technical clarifications with customers, EPCs, and consultants
- Assist in configuring automation and HMI systems under supervision.
- Contribute to quality supervision and support PLM process and development activities
- Prepare technical documentation and participate in technical discussions with development teams.
- Learn and contribute to training sessions for customers and internal teams
- Completed university degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or comparable technical education
- Basic knowledge of HMI/SCADA systems and interest in energy transmission as well as basic understanding of communication protocols (IEC101, IEC104, IEC61850) is an advantage
- Strong willingness to learn and contribute in PLM processes, substation automation, and SCADA systems
- Ability to work collaboratively and proactively in a product development environment
- Familiarity with signal management and configuration of remote-control interfaces
- Good communication skills in English, German is an advantage
