A Snapshot of Your Day: As the Government Affairs Manager, you will develop and implement a comprehensive government affairs strategy in collaboration with the country MD, ensuring alignment with Siemens Energy’s objectives. You will monitor and analyze legislative developments, geopolitical trends, and stakeholder dynamics, while fostering relationships with key government representatives and industry associations to enhance our market position and reputation.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Develop, monitor, and implement an annual government affairs strategy aligned with the country strategy.
  • Track and respond to key country and BA issues requiring government affairs mitigation and support.
  • Analyze and influence policy, legislative, and regulatory developments impacting Siemens Energy’s operations.
  • Identify engagement platforms to drive advocacy and enhance Siemens Energy’s reputation in decision-making processes.
  • Prepare executive briefing materials and reports in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
  • Represent Siemens Energy at industry events and meetings with government officials.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Administration, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in government affairs or public policy within the energy sector.
  • Strong understanding of policy, legislative, and regulatory processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with government officials and stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective advocacy strategies.
