A Snapshot of Your Day (position overview)

  • Start off your day by checking in with on-site third-party partners on daily/weekly priorities.
  • Resolution of open issues pertaining to 3rd party warehousing operations across multiple 3PL locations.
  • Review of Inventory metrics (On time delivery, accuracy, inventory value) for each 3PL partner.
  • Liaise with GSO Finance team on actions relating to Inventory accuracy, cycle count processing.
  • Maintain dashboard of third-party partner performance to critical KPI for business per Service level agreement.
  • Oversee critical external suppliers supporting Service operations.
  • Negotiations with critical external suppliers regarding contracts, supply continuity & assurance, pricing, cost savings opportunities.
  • Ensure all purchase requests are processed in a timely manner.

How You’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities)

  • Responsible for ensuring operational excellence across our GSO external logistics partnership network.
  • Manage and control performance, ensuring warehousing operations are performing to agreed levels of performance (Service Level agreements).
  • Inventory management: Establish and communicate annual warehouse goals to meet key performance indicators (KPI) and delivery performance.
  • Issuance of Purchase orders to support third party support. Monthly reconciliation of Invoices for associated 3rd party services.
  • Perform periodic audits of external warehouse partners to ensure compliance to requirements.
  • Tracking incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely system postings of all parts.
  • Inventory management: Ensure applicable controls in place to avoid any inventory losses. Coordinate cycle count processes at third party partner sites.
  • Oversee initiatives for continuous improvement of service of 3PL partners.
  • Coordinating with 3rd party partners to ensure optimization of warehousing solutions, for safety, quality and cost effectiveness.
  • Coordinating any system level issues for resolution.

What You Bring (requirements)

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • 8+ years of successful management experience in a productive warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Proven experience in writing/negotiating service level agreements/contracts.
  • Budgeting experience in ensuring cost effective solutions within our logistics partnership network.
  • Experience building strategic relationships, including communicating and collaborating across teams and functions.
  • Proficiency in SAP systems is a must.
  • High business level acumen and proven track record in dealing with external business partners.
  • Strong problem-solving ability to resolve issues in a very timely manner.
  • Safety minded focus supports our zero harm initiatives.
  • Positive, collaborative, can do attitude.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel domestically in USA (30%).
