Commercial Sales & Project Manager at Siemens Energy

Join our newly formed Compression Service Organization, where your expertise will be pivotal in driving our commercial success. As a Commercial Sales & Project Manager, you will take charge of all commercial aspects and project financials for Service Orders, acting as a vital finance partner to our sales, project management and Service Center team. Imagine collaborating in a dynamic environment where your financial insights shape bid proposals and contract execution processes. Your role will not only enhance our customer focus but also contribute to the overall growth and efficiency of our business across Europe.

How You’ll Make an Impact  

• Review, analyze, and negotiate financial and commercial components of customer proposals and Master Frame Agreements.
• Collaborate closely with project managers to provide commercial support for assigned projects, ensuring adherence to PM@SE guidelines and contractual agreements.
• Manage all commercial aspects and project financials, including monthly revenue recognition, forecasting, and optimizing profit margins and cash flow.
• Act as trusted Finance Partner to our local Service Center Organization.
• Ensure compliance with accounting rules (IFRS 15 & local GAAP), as well as legal, tax, and foreign exchange regulations.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management, highlighting key progress, challenges, and solutions. 

What You Bring 

• Over 3 years of professional experience in Business Administration or Finance, ideally with a focus on Project Execution. Also, with availability to travel up to 10% of your time (monthly).
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS and percentage of completion (PoC) accounting, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and SAP are required.
• Excellent english communication skills, with the ability to thrive both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
• A proven ability to multi-task and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Nice to have a Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, accounting, or equivalent experience.
