A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Gas Turbine Commissioning Engineer at Siemens Energy, your day will be filled with dynamic and exciting tasks. You'll start with a briefing on the latest project developments and then head out to the field to inspect and assess turbine components. Your work will be pivotal in ensuring that our brand-new technology is implemented flawlessly and that our clients receive top-tier service. You can expect to collaborate with a world-class team that values excellence, continuous improvement, and innovative problem-solving.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Performing niche engineer-level work in the field, including inspections on turbine-related components and auxiliaries, and providing flawless recommendations to customers based on strict specifications and requirements.
  • Conducting on-site installation of systems and equipment, handling aftermarket upgrades, and performing ongoing preventive maintenance, repair, and calibration post-installation.
  • Responding to emergency repair requests, fixing issues, and providing clear instructions to the on-site team and customers.
  • Contributing to the planning and successful implementation of commissioning activities, coordinating with the Installation Supervisor/Site Manager, and implementing commissioning design changes.
  • Supporting continuous improvement of process, product, and system design by participating in internal review meetings and providing valuable inputs.
  • Ensuring that all Quality and HSE standards are closely followed at all times while performing detailed measurements and compiling records to detail the condition of equipment and assure quality.

What You Bring

  • A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Experience in gas turbine commissioning or a related engineering role.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication abilities to convey complex technical information clearly.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a world-class team.
  • Flexibility to travel and work in various locations, especially within Kazakhstan and potentially internationally.
  • A passion for innovation and an aim to efficiently implement new technologies.
