A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR DAY

The SGT5/6-9000HL Gas Turbine Combustion Integrator will serve as a single interface partner to all MidFrame interfaces! The role will have overall responsibility for integrating Midframe design into other interface partners such as Auxiliary, Turbine, and Compressor components!

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining Engineering Interface Documents (EIDs) for the 9HL MidFrame modules.
  • Responsible for crafting and maintaining all Requests for Tests (RFTs) for 9HL MidFrame module
  • Work with the fleet services team on the outage schedule
  • Responsible for responding to field questions/requests
  • Lead MidFrame verification, validation testing, and input for frame-level Product Development Process design reviews
  • Working with Coordinated Project Team leads to ensure project targets are met
  • Supervise fleet combustion performance and collaborate with the fleet-management team to roll out new features as needed.
  • Collaborate with multiple organizations on combustion system development, e.g., service and repair, manufacturing and procurement, marketing, fleet management, business development, and project negotiations.
WHAT YOU BRING
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, or related, (or equivalent) 5+ years of professional experience. An advanced degree in mechanical design or project management education is desirable.
  • Experience in gas turbine service engineering, new design, and Product Development Processes
  • Experience in combustion, casing, and/or rotor design or service.
  • Experience in trouble-shooting and root cause analysis.
  • Proven track record of delivering timely and within budget
  • Strategic and critical thinking skills; leadership mentality and proactive approach\
  • A sense of personal accountability when it comes to decision-making
  • Excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Encouraging an ambitious attitude, demonstrating global experience and leadership, and adeptly mentoring and motivating large, diverse global teams.
  • Ability to Influence work across peer groups - Agile / LEAN experience
  • Available to travel for testing and site support at least 30% of the time
