The Fossil Valve Technical Sales position is responsible for directing cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of technical proposals supporting the Fossil Valve Product Line. These complex projects support SE inventory used as exchanges or service repairs on Customer owned hardware.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Services on these Valve assemblies will be supported by our factory network and will require the applicant to manage those groups within SE supporting the customer, product line, and technical input.
• Support various team members including but not limited to Turning Gears, Blading, Rotors, Stationary hardware, both Fossil and Nuclear.
• Travel up to 10% to support both internal and external meetings: Travel for the service business is not always scheduled and may be last minute due to customer needs.
• Support customers which include power generation facilities in North America which have Siemens Energy OEM equipment including Westinghouse and Allis Chalmers.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or combined equivalent of educational background and work experience. 8+ years of work experience in power generation services.
• Proficient in SAP with a strong sense of (internal and external) customer needs!
• Experience with identification of parts and inventory.
• Commercial knowledge of Combined Cycle Power Plants (CCPP) using the Platform Teams to drive solutions and close customer’s needs.
• Direct customer electric utility experience is highly desirable – ability to lead in resolving parts and or scope needs!
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
