A Snapshot of Your Day
With a steady growth in our industrial turbine fleet in Thailand we’re now expanding our team of field service engineers and to manage that expansion we are looking for Field Service Manager for Inspector Team
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Manage, coach, and develop a local team of 20-30 Field Service Engineers - Inspector, ensuring their growth and motivation.
- Coordinate both planned and reactive on-site work in alignment with project managers, optimizing workflows and efficiency.
- Conduct regular meetings to manage field work, review and approve service reports, and ensure compliance with local laws and EHS requirements.
- Plan and manage trainings to enhance team skills and meet legal requirements.
- Collaborate with other service management teams to develop engineer competencies, cross-train the team, and contribute to technical service improvements for outage reduction and cost savings.
- Ensure EHS responsibility for the team and their activities at customer sites, maintaining high safety standards.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or an equivalent degree.
- 5+ years of field service inspection for gas turbines or rotating equipment, with team or project leadership experience preferred.
- Strong team motivation and development skills, setting high performance standards and providing constructive feedback.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills, both orally and in writing, with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Technical knowledge and experience with Industrial Gas Turbines.
- Proficiency in English and MS Office, with full working rights in Thailand.
About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
