A Snapshot of Your Day
Join us in a dynamic role where you lead the charge in maintaining and enhancing small gas turbines worldwide. You’ll collaborate closely with customers, contractors, and your team to ensure seamless operations and top-notch service delivery. Your day will be filled with hands-on mechanical activities, engineering modifications, and troubleshooting, all while safeguarding the company’s commercial interests. As you travel globally, you’ll represent Siemens Energy in customer meetings, provide expert training, and contribute to our mission of innovation and sustainability.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Perform mechanical activities and engineering modifications to ensure customer plants meet specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to protect the company’s commercial interests during mechanical tasks.
- Represent Siemens Energy in customer briefings, updating them on mechanical progress and safeguarding company interests.
- Conduct complex site surveys and provide detailed reports for design plans, modifications, and upgrades.
- Train less experienced field service engineers and guide customer operators in equipment maintenance.
What You Bring
- Over 3 years of experience in delivering service products in the Oil and Gas Market, with broad Gas Turbine product knowledge.
- Holds a BSc/BEng or advanced degree in a related discipline; certification may be required in some areas.
- Willingness to travel and work worldwide around 80% of the time, including offshore environments, with the ability to work irregular hours and weekends.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills, customer focus, and cultural awareness, capable of leading teams in different countries.
- High commitment to Zero-Harm culture and competent in using Microsoft Office IT systems.
- Ability to perform well under pressure with limited supervision, demonstrating broad knowledge in field specialization for complex assignments.
