Join Siemens Energy as an Execution Engineer in Product Classification Structure, where you will play a pivotal role in developing a comprehensive classification system for our Grid Technologies portfolio of transformers and switching products. Imagine driving our classification scheme activities, ensuring that complex design datasets are easily findable and accessible for applications like product selectors and future AI. You will work in an agile team environment, taking ownership of work packages and user stories from the backlog, while collaborating closely with classification users around the globe to enhance our systems.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• You will analyze existing classification methods and leverage your analytical skills to improve and shape new structures.
• Collect and evaluate demands from data consumers to ensure compliance with our classification system’s objectives.
• Participate in training sessions to confidently utilize the latest PLM systems, such as Teamcenter, as our system environment evolves.
• Understand and facilitate the interdisciplinary nature of classification, collaborating with R&D, IT, and data consumers to achieve our goals.

What You Bring

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, high voltage engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with design data structures in common PLM systems, preferably Teamcenter or Agile.
• Knowledge of methodological approaches for product data classification systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills, a structured work approach, and a commitment to high-quality standards.
• The courage to make decisions and effectively convince stakeholders.
• Knowledge of switching or transformer products is beneficial but not essential.
• Fluent English language skills; basic German language skills are a plus.
