How to contribute to our vision
This request is for two additional temporary headcount to serve as Engineering Interns within the Service Engineering Operation Support team. The primary business driver is to support ongoing digitalization projects, aiming to reduce manual workloads, improve efficiency, and accelerate the delivery of current initiatives. To address these objectives, this role focuses on two core areas: Software & Tool Development Support and Data Management & Fleet Analysis Support. These categories encompass tasks related to programming, data processing, and assisting with the automation of engineering processes. Given the focus on digitalization, the ideal candidate will be a final-year engineering student with a strong foundation in programming (such as C#, Python, or JavaScript), database design, and object-oriented principles. Strong communication skills and an advanced level of English are essential for collaborating effectively within the team.
What You Need To Make a Difference
- 50% Software & Tool Development Support
- Assist lead engineers in the development and maintenance of software tools for engineering analysis and process automation.
- Support the design and implementation of new features for internal applications used by engineering teams.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure software development projects are completed successfully and on schedule.
- 50% Data Management & Fleet Analysis Support
- Support the management and review of operational data from the gas turbine fleet using established digital tools.
- Assist in data processing and analysis to support the digitalization of engineering processes.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation for new tools and processes to ensure long-term sustainability.
Education
- Currently enrolled in the final semester of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Computer, or Electrical Engineering.
- Availability to complete a full-time, 12-month internship is required.
- Previous experience with digitalization projects during academic studies or prior internships is highly preferred.
