Snapshot of Your Day
Key support for Siemens Energy Zero harm program for FLC site. Ensure Safety and Zero Harm processes and procedures are followed at all times on site at FAST. Assists in coordination of Safety committee on site including action tracking and continuous improvement efforts.
How you will Make an Impact
- Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations and agreement standards (OSHA, DHS, Workers' Compensation), job hazard reviews, incident investigations.
- Facilitates daily walkthroughs of site & records feedback to team. Helps coordinate orientation and safety related training program on site.
- Maintains all safety records for site incl. all training records, and EHS related KPI’s (key performance indicators). Coordinates with all external vendors and contractors on site projects to ensure safety protocols are followed. Coordinates facility improvement projects with business partners and contractors.
- Ensures our site fleet vehicles and equipment are fully available thru preventative maintenance programs.
- Oversees company CTPAT program, liaising with Customs team for annual facility audits, action plans and potential improvements. Participates in site EHS continuous improvement activities for work areas as required.
- Collaborates with site supervisors/leads on all safety huddles and safety stand downs. Coordinate with HR team on all work related policies.
What You Bring
- 5 plus years’ experience in EHS role in a productive warehouse or logistics center environment preferred.
- Previous demonstrated experience mentoring a team on environmental and safety related projects is a must.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA workplace regulations.
- Demonstrated experience in performing job hazard analysis.
- Subject matter expert on all aspects of the EH&S function, including training experience, problem solving and reporting. Ability to foster a culture of EHS within a dynamic logistics environment.
- Proactive, positive, can do attitude, collaborative. Time management and strong organizational skills.

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators.
