A Snapshot of Your Day
In this role, you will build detailed production documents using Creo, AutoCAD, and our proprietary software, all while adhering to project schedules. You’ll have the invaluable support of Chief Design Engineers and various technical departments, ensuring you have the resources you need to excel. How You’ll Make an Impact
- Mechanical design creation for the SIEMENS ENERGY FIT-type products according to the customer requirements, and internal production technology criteria
- Mechanical design of tank and active parts for shopfloor documentation
- Technical drawing, bill of materials and datasheets creation
- Follow the technical standards and publications.
- Error analysis
- Communication and collaboration with Technology, Production, Procurement, Quality, Sales, Order administration departments
- Communication and partnership with Customer’s department
- Participate in meetings and support the development of international design rules and R&D efforts as needed
What You Bring
- BSc or MSc degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineer degree, with validated experience of five or more years as a mechanical/electrical design engineer
- Minimum of five years of experience in medium and/or large power transformer mechanical design, including core clamping, leads, tanks, and cooling systems, demonstrating strong conceptual and practical knowledge
- Ability to understand mechanical simulations and familiarity with International and other e.g. American and Canadian standards for transformers and their components
- Confident English and/or German knowledge
- Confident knowledge of standard office software (MS Office) and 3D (f.e: CREO) knowledge
- Proactive individual with strong communication skills, showing curiosity about teamwork and experience collaborating with global teams and manufacturing partners.
- Ansys simulation program knowledge is an advantage
