A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Senior Controlling Specialist at Siemens-Energy, you will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing financial performance by analyzing data, identifying trends, and providing strategic recommendations to management. You will work closely with business divisions and departments to ensure efficient operations and cost management. Your duties will include providing financial guidance, developing budgets, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business decisions.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Provide guidance to management on financial performance, cost management, and efficiency improvements.
• Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and analysis to senior management.
• Supervise and report on the performance of business departments against budget and forecast.
• Identify areas of improvement in financial processes and work with cross-functional teams to implement changes.
• Collaborate with accounting and other teams to ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Support the development of financial models, KPIs, and dashboards to measure business performance.
• Active support in ProMt program (providing data and feedback).

What You Bring

• Proven experience in finance and controlling/ audit is a must, degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred
• Communicative knowledge of English and Czech/ Slovak 
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with financial modeling
• Experience with SAP and other financial systems advantageous
• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting
• Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial partners
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively cross-functionally
• Strong attention to detail and independence
• Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities
