Are you an expert in the energy industry looking for your next challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Consultant Protective Earthing and Lightning Protection Studies!

 

Located in Split or Zagreb (Croatia), you will be a part of the team of Pro Integris d.o.o. who is the 100% Siemens Energy subsidiary/legal entity.

 

As a Consultant Protective Earthing and Lightning Protection Studies, you play a critical role in driving the energy transition and in creating a more sustainable future. As part of a global team of motivated and passionate individuals, you leverage your technical background to coordinate technical studies related power transmission, and work closely with our customers to develop customized solutions that improve energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact. You will guide them in selecting optimal solutions, that meet their specific needs, and be integral part of project with real impact on the world.

   

How You’ll Make an Impact

 
  • Leading consulting engagements through completion, aligning team members from different technical backgrounds within a multi-cultural environment.
  • Executing studies for design and analysis of protective earthing and lightning protection systems in HV applications (HV substations, power plants, etc…)
  • Carrying out on-site specific soil resistivity measurements as an input to design studies
  • Carrying out on-site heavy current injection tests
   

What You Bring 

 
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field (Master’s or Ph.D. degree preferred)
  • 5 – 8 years of experience in conducting power system analysis in steady and transient states
  • Expert knowledge in the design of lightning protection and protective earthing systems in HV applications
  • Experience in on-site measurements of specific soil resistivity and earthing system current injection testing in the framework of HV applications
  • Solid knowledge of applicable norms and standards related to lightning protection and protective earthing systems
  • Experience in power system simulation programs (e.g. PSS/E, TARA, PSLF, DigSilent PowerFactory, ETAP, PSCAD/EMTDC, MATLAB/Simulink).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
