A Snapshot of Your Day 

Imagine starting your morning by diving into our market intelligence tools, where you’ll track global market developments and assess key indicators across various regions. With fresh insights in hand, you’ll screen the supplier landscape to identify new potential partners, ensuring alignment with the specific requirements discussed with our production sites. In the afternoon, you’ll take the lead in organizing and moderating our cross-functional Commodity Circle meeting, bringing together key stakeholders to align on strategic sourcing decisions. The outcomes of these sessions, combined with your market findings, will directly contribute to the continuous refinement of your Commodity Strategy, keeping it current and forward-looking.


How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Define and implement the purchasing strategy for LSF components as a strategic buyer.
  • Manage and develop purchasing activities for vendor management in collaboration with partner functions such as development, engineering, production, and quality management.
  • Conduct price and contract negotiations, ensuring successful contract conclusions.
  • Actively craft purchasing processes and sourcing concepts in key STG locations (Görlitz, Brno, and Jundiaí) while driving cost reduction measures.
  • Independently perform complex evaluations and analyses of national and international procurement markets, focusing on demand, market, and supplier analyses.

What You Bring
  • A successfully completed technical or commercial university degree, along with several years of experience in purchasing or supplier management.
  • Proven experience in conducting negotiations and cross-functional collaboration with adjacent functional areas (e.g., development, production planning, quality management).
  • Knowledge of contract law and purchasing-specific project management.
  • Familiarity with the international market for large steel fabrication (LSF) suppliers, as well as knowledge of welding technologies, material grades, and contemporary trends.
  • Proficiency in English; German is a plus. Comfortable with office tools and willing to travel 20-30%.
