A Snapshot of Your Day
In this role you will be responsible for managing and assisting the team on all commercial and financial topics throughout the whole project process and responsible for the budget/forecast and commercial project execution in Siemens Energy Grid Technologies. You will also actively drive/lead the commercial project execution excellence with the support of the PM team.
How You’ll Make an Impact
· Manage all commercial activities of the execution phase under SE guidelines: project set up to closure in SAP, project financial position management, change orders management, on-going cost calculation and plan cost adjustment, cost centres and projects budget/Forecast, NCC, GR, financing concepts, currency, hedging, bonds, billing and money collection, cash management, credit rating, insurances, export control, compliance, commercial risk and opportunity overview etc.
· Relationship management with external project stakeholders i.e., customers, consortium partners etc; with internal functions, e.g., Management, PM, Accounting, Legal, TCF, Insurance, Taxes etc.
· Support the project manager to develop execution strategy. And create and implement the commercial execution strategy.
· Participate actively in the project execution process by interfacing with PM and SE factories etc.
· Understand customers’ commercial requirements and deliver results together with PM.
· Drive money collection together with PM.
· Support optimization of commercial execution processes, including summary of lessons learned, experience, and document/update commercial bid process etc.
· Obtain management approvals according to signature mandate.
· Timely update commercial relevant documents and information on project execution by reflect in budget/forecast and clear documentation.
· Support internal and external audit issues, as well as local FIN requirements
· Share workload within FIN team according to manager’s arrangement.
What You Bring
· University Degree in International Trade/Business Administration/Finance/Accounting/Contracts or equivalents
· Experience commercially managing external customer bids for major construction/ transmission infrastructure projects or managing complex projects during delivery/ execution.
· 5 years’ experience in a finance or commercial role with deep understanding of financial bookings/budget/forecast, IFRS, POC accounting and SAP skills.
· Strong writing, presentation meeting facilitation skills. Excellent communications skills; able to clearly and concisely express information (or data) through writing, speaking and presentations.
· Self-driven and resourceful to achieve goals independently as well as work well in teams.
· Flexibility to adjust and thrive in an environment with changing requirements, schedules and priorities for multiple projects or assignments.
· The ability to conceptualize & socialize ideas, make recommendations and gather team consensus to move forward.
· Passionate for business, figures and project execution.
· Flexibility and willingness for international travel.
