A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Commercial Project Manager, you will be responsible for the comprehensive financial and commercial management of projects from initiation to completion. You will serve as the primary point of contact for all contractual, administrative, legal, tax, and accounting aspects, ensuring projects are executed successfully within budget and on schedule. Maintain good customer engagement and Internal collaboration is a must. Your role involves close collaboration with Project Managers, Bid Management, Controllers, and management to maintain financial transparency and drive project profitability. You will be instrumental in creating and managing project calculations, financial forecasts, and consolidated reporting, providing the project team with critical data for decision-making. Success in this position requires a proactive approach to identifying financial risks and opportunities, leading negotiations for variation orders, and implementing robust controlling processes. You will manage key financial instruments such as guarantees and hedging, ensuring full compliance with internal guidelines and external regulations while fostering a collaborative and efficient project environment.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• • Timely review and drive project financials success, maintain good customer engagement, manage budgets and customer contracts, and support reporting and forecasting
  • Control and monitor key financial project indicators such as Order Intake, Revenue, Cost, Gross Margin, and Cash to ensure successful project execution
  • Proactive risk management to address potential bottlenecks and risks before they occur, rather than merely reacting to problems
• • Manage all commercial project aspects, including invoicing, payment tracking, and leading variation order discussions with customers.
  • Handle financial guarantees, hedging, insurance, and tax-related implications in close alignment with corporate departments.
  • Ensure project execution adheres to all contractual, administrative, and legal requirements.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers to ensure successful project delivery within budget and time constraints.
  • Support in reporting and forecasting

What You Bring

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent will be added advantage

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Significant experience in managing the commercial aspects of complex, international customer projects.
