Join us as a Commercial Project Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial and contractual aspects of our complex projects within the Steam turbine business. Imagine leading projects to successful completion alongside the technical Project Manager, ensuring profitability while managing risks and safeguarding the company’s financial interests. You will be the go-to person for all commercial matters, representing our organization with professionalism and integrity. Your expertise will drive the successful execution of UK-based projects, ensuring alignment with objectives, timelines, and contractual requirements.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Manage project budgeting, financial forecasting, follow-ups, and regular performance reporting.
  • Oversee project cash management, including financial warranties, taxes, insurances, and currency hedging.
  • Ensure compliance with all commercial contract requirements, terms, and conditions throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Serve as the primary commercial point of contact for customers, consortium partners, banks, and other external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, including tax, finance, and legal, to ensure project alignment and compliance.
  • Proactively identify, evaluate, and manage project-related commercial risks and opportunities in partnership with the technical project team.
  • Lead the commercial claim management process to protect the company’s interests and resolve disputes effectively.
  • Analyze and process contract variations, assessing their impact on project cost, schedule, and profitability.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience as a Commercial Project Manager, preferably within the energy, industrial, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Alternatively, significant experience in project financing, procurement, legal, or trade finance within a project-based organization.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Strong skills in Project Financial Management, Contract Management, Risk & Opportunity Management, Claim Management, and Stakeholder Management.
  • Business proficiency in English.
