A Snapshot of Your Day 

As part of FIN TR OEX Australia, you are responsible for the commercial execution of customer orders and projects throughout the full order lifecycle.

You ensure financial transparency, reliable forecasting, and accurate results for orders in the transformer and switchgear business, and act as the commercial key interface between German customers and manufacturing plants, aligning commercial requirements, delivery milestones, and financial outcomes.

How You’ll Make an Impact

·         Ensures the accuracy of project books and records, including recording of such in the appropriate systems, e.g., SAP - ensures compliance with Siemens Energy-IFRG plus the local GAAP requirements. Ensures all related Project Reporting and Controlling activities are performed accordingly.

·         Support the assigned Project Manager to ensure that the project financial results according to set targets are managed with due professional care.

·         Optimize the project gross profit, cash flow and assets and financing instruments including identifying, evaluating, and assessing risk and opportunities, strategies and response activities.

·         Assist, clarify, elaborate, and optimize all relevant commercial issues, such as analyzing and commenting on contracts, including legal aspects, determining the business model (NCM, consortium, subcontractor, split contract), preparation of relevant documents, tax concept, insurance, currency issues, compliance, ECC, cash flow.

What You Bring 

·         Degree in Business / Finance / Accounting.

·         At least 5 years of working experience preferably in a project controlling/accounting or contract management role.

·         Experience leading projects would be advantageous.

·         Proficiency with standard accounting principles.

·         Professional English required.

·         Extensive working experience and professional use of IT Tools including Microsoft and SAP.

·         Positive attitude to work in challenging environment and in embracing high performance culture.
