A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Claims Operations Analyst, your day centers around ensuring wage compliance across Siemens Gamesa’s public and government-funded projects. You’ll begin by collecting and validating Prevailing Wage documentation, collaborating with payroll teams, customers, and project managers to ensure accuracy. You’ll maintain detailed records of labor classifications and fringe benefits, and prepare audit-ready materials for internal and external reviews. While your core focus is wage compliance, you’ll also support other project claims, contributing to broader claims operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of finance, labor law, and project execution, within a team committed to operational excellence and regulatory integrity.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Oversee the collection, validation, and submission of Prevailing Wage documentation for applicable projects.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage laws.
  • Maintain accurate records of labor classifications, wage rates, and fringe benefit documentation.
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and payroll teams to ensure proper wage reporting.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and responding to inquiries and assist with other project claims as needed in alignment with broader claims processes.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to policy updates related to wage compliance.

What You Bring

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or related fields.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years in Controlling or Finance functions, with additional experience in finance, commercial operations, or claims management considered a plus.
  • Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, tax, controlling, forecasting, planning, reporting, financial instruments, and KPIs; highly proficient in SAP and experienced with advanced digital analytics tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, and Power Query; advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Analytical & Organizational Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
  • Communication & Compliance: Fluent in English (written and verbal), with the ability to interpret contracts and regulatory guidelines.
  • Work Style: Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
