- Contribution to the design and optimization of turbine hot gas path components with a focus on performance, durability, and manufacturability
- Development and application of high-fidelity casting simulation methodologies for robust and high-yield foundry processes
- Integration of manufacturability considerations into early-stage turbine component design through upstream simulation approaches
- Development of innovative cooling technologies balancing thermal performance, manufacturability, and casting feasibility
- Cross-functional collaboration with design, materials, and manufacturing teams to establish simulation-driven Design-for-Manufacturing (DFM) workflows
- Identification and resolution of complex casting challenges through advanced modeling, data-driven analysis, validation activities, and continuous enhancement of simulation methodologies
- University degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Materials Engineering with a focus on simulation and manufacturing processes
- Industrial experience in turbomachinery, turbine hot gas path components, thermal design, fluid systems, or related engineering applications
- Strong expertise in multi-physics principles and Design for Manufacturability (DfM)
- Longstanding years of experience with FEA, CFD, and CAD, including advanced 3D simulation tools (e.g., ProCast, Star-CCM+, Simcenter 3D, ANSYS)
- High level of motivation, initiative, self-management, and innovation capability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, combined with business-fluent German and English proficiency
