As a Buyer at Siemens Energy, your day will revolve around ensuring the timely and cost-efficient procurement of goods, materials, and services. You’ll process incoming requests, manage purchase orders, and collaborate with internal and external partners to maintain continuity of supply. You’ll also monitor supplier performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Process purchase requests and release purchase orders to suppliers.
• Manage purchase orders to ensure on-time and cost-efficient supply.
• Maintain and update supplier master data.
• Find opportunities for standardization and process improvement.
• Communicate professionally within Commodity Circles and with interested parties.
• Monitor and report supplier performance.
• Share procurement-related information to keep interested parties informed.

What You Bring

• 1–2 years of experience in engineering, procurement, operations, or manufacturing.
• Apprenticeship degree or equivalent experience in technical or other relevant education.
• Strong customer focus and communication skills.
• Analytical attitude with problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to adapt to intercultural environments and country-specific nuances.
• Skills in data management, contract management, automation, and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in digital and functional procurement tools.
