役割について
A Snapshot of Your Day
Develops profitable vendor relationships, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing from vendors. Ensures favorable pricing and develops KPIs for vendor selection. Collaborates with business partners on vendor management to meet business needs. Evaluates and provides recommendations for buying strategies to senior leaders. May oversee delivery from vendor and evaluate vendor performance/impact on business outcomes.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Candidates should possess strong technical knowledge of instrumentation, especially for hazardous area applications.
- Must be well-versed with Ex classification standards and ensure compliance with relevant certifications (ATEX, IECEx, etc.).
- Coordinate with Engineering and Quality teams for proper documentation and installation of Ex-rated instruments.
- Interpret certification documents, datasheets, and instrument markings to verify suitability for hazardous zones.
- Handle procurement and material management of instrumentation items as per project requirements. Procurement & Material Management. Procurement of all E&I bought-out items which are used for installation at Hazardous area including:
- Automated Valves, Control Valves, Safety Relief Valves. DCS, PLC, SCADA, MCC Panels, Control Panels, LCS. Transmitters, Switches, Gauges, Level Indicators. Junction Boxes, Instrumentation Tubes & Fittings. Electrical Panels, MCBs, Switchgears
- Control, Power & Instrumentation Cables. Cable Trays, Earthing Materials. Import Coordination. Coordination with international vendors and freight forwarders. Ensuring compliance with import regulations and documentation. Managing logistics and customs clearance for imported items. Tracking shipments and ensuring timely delivery to site.
- System Configuration & Documentation. Customization of purchasing documents as per project requirements. Configuration of Material Master and Vendor Master in SAP systems. Documentation aligned with ISO 45000 and IMS standards. Material selection and procurement planning based on lead times. Coordination with Engineering, Quality Control, Stores, and Accounts departments. Tracking material movement from demand generation to inward receipt. Vendor evaluation and development.
What You Bring
- Degree in Instrumentation and controls or mechatronics or electronics & electrical and communication.
- Responsible for end-to-end procurement, import coordination, and documentation of all Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) bought-out items for power plant projects. Ensures timely availability of materials, compliance with standards, and effective vendor management.
- Electrical & Instrumentation Bought-Out Items. Control System, Cables & Accessories, Valves & Actuators.
- Negotiation and finalization of Annual Rate Contracts and Agreements. Generating Inter-Office Memos for vendor payments. Ensuring timely payment clearance and resolving vendor queries. Strong knowledge of E&I components and systems. Experience in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Understanding of import/export regulations and logistics.
