A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR DAY
As part of the Connectors Business System Development team at Siemens Energy, you’ll play a critical role in shaping our digital future. Your day might involve creating web-based systems that provide real-time analytics, automating workflows with tools like Power Apps or Power Automate, or designing intuitive dashboards with Tableau or Power BI to empower data-driven decisions.
You’ll work closely with multi-functional teams, uncovering opportunities for automation and digitalization while ensuring our processes meet high safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Each day brings the chance to innovate, improve, and collaborate in a culture that values creativity, support, and shared goals.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Lead and coordinate the development of software solutions, ensuring alignment with Siemens Energy technologies and process guidelines.
- Develop innovative concepts and architectures while refining existing solutions and proposing modernization strategies.
- Collaborate with agile teams to guide technical development, create specifications, and refine new features and user stories.
- Ensure the quality and timely delivery of robust software solutions.
- Conduct risk assessments with a focus on information security, data protection, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Perform code reviews, solve issues, and deliver solutions in a dynamic, team-based environment.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Technical Expertise: 5-7 years of experience in software development and architecture, with hands-on skills in .NET Framework, ASP.Net Core, MVC, C#, Web API, and Microsoft services.
- Problem-Solving Attitude: A curious, passionate approach to tackling challenges and building impactful solutions.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in statistical analysis, programming (C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL), and a data-driven attitude.
- Architecture Knowledge: Familiarity with REST API, OData, GraphQL, Microservices, Azure, and design principles like Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
- Collaboration: Proven ability to work in multi-functional teams, engaging effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Continuous Improvement: Commitment to skill development and innovation, with experience in building PoCs/MVPs.
- Communication: Exceptional English fluency and strong interpersonal skills to work seamlessly in a global, multicultural setting.
