A Snapshot of Your Day

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • System support for BA, Procurement, OM, Warehouse & Quality issues for GT Orlando facilities. Collaboration with Business Process Charlotte to improve resource efficiency.
  • Responsible for identifying, testing, documenting, and training on all OPP & other system processes related to GT Orlando. (SESP, Supply-On, IOL, EDI Help Desk, & EWM among others.)
  • Training external suppliers, and internal users, and mentoring students on applicable processes
  • Responsible for various reporting and critical metric calculations for weekly and monthly requirements
  • Documenting & maintaining specific process procedures and desktop instructions
  • Data management & reporting as requested

What You Bring

  • A bachelor’s degree or associate’s/high school diploma with direct experience is required.
  • 5+ years of experience using SAP through the full purchase-to-pay process including subcontracting is required. Knowledge of serialization and subcontracting in SAP is a must.
  • Experience with PC-based software packages for word processing, presentation, database, spreadsheet, and chart applications is required. These may include but are not limited to MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS SharePoint.
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills along with a preference for working in team environments. A Customer Service approach is needed.
  • This individual should possess the ability to work independently with minimal direction and input from supervisors and managers. They should also become comfortable with taking the initiative and capturing the required data and information to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining high standards for quality.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Gas Services

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
