A Snapshot of Your Day:

As a Bid Manager in Gas Services, you will engage with diverse stakeholders across the Middle East, leveraging your engineering expertise to craft compelling bids that drive sustainable energy solutions. You will work on meaningful projects that enhance the efficiency and reliability of gas and steam turbines, directly contributing to Siemens Energy’s mission of decarbonizing global energy systems. How You’ll Make an Impact:
  • Lead the overall bid process for Open Market Offerings and Long-Term Service Program bids in the Sub-Region.
  • Develop comprehensive technical proposals by coordinating inputs from the project team and integrating commercial and legal aspects.
  • Support Sales colleagues in navigating the internal Limits of Authority (LoA) process.
  • Analyze customer requirements and RFQ documents to devise effective bidding strategies.
  • Maintain customer relationships by providing technical product application assistance and participating in contract negotiations.
  • Perform cost and risk assessments to finalize bid documents and ensure successful project handover.

What You Bring:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with at least 5 years of experience in the Power Generation Sector.
  • Proficiency in Arabic and English, with excellent communication skills for an international environment.
  • Strong understanding of customer requirements and ability to convey these effectively within Siemens Energy.
  • Experience with Gas-Steam Turbines, Generators, and aftermarket services.
  • Familiarity with project implementation and outage management is a plus.
  • Resilience and a positive attitude when working under pressure, with a collaborative mindset across diverse cultural backgrounds.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
