A Snapshot of Your Day:
As a Bid Manager at Siemens Energy, you will lead the charge on high-impact regional projects, crafting competitive bids that align with Siemens Energy’s mission to drive sustainable energy solutions. Your work will directly influence the success of strategic projects, fostering collaboration across departments and ensuring that our proposals meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Lead the entire bid management process for complex tenders, ensuring submissions are timely and compliant.
- Develop strategic bid approaches by analyzing tender documents and aligning them with company objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including field service, engineering, commercial, legal, and finance, to gather necessary inputs.
- Manage bid timelines, deliverables, and review cycles using structured planning tools to ensure efficiency.
- Prepare comprehensive executive summaries, compliance matrices, and risk assessments to support decision-making.
- Conduct post-bid reviews and lessons learned sessions to enhance future bid performance and strategy.
What You Bring:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, with a preference for a Master’s degree.
- 5–8 years of experience in bid management, ideally within the energy, utilities, or infrastructure sectors.
- Strong understanding of technical, commercial, and contractual terms, with excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and document management systems to support bid preparation and management.
- PMP or APMP certification is advantageous, demonstrating a commitment to professional excellence.
- Experience with power systems, substations, or reactive power compensation projects, and knowledge of local and international standards.
