A Snapshot of Your Day

As an IT Support / Data technician Apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience working with a wide range of IT infrastructure, hardware, and industrial systems that support our wind turbine and wind farm technology.

You will primarily work from our Brande location, where we have both office and datacenter facilities. Your day will include both learning and practical tasks such as:

• Participating in daily team sync meetings and task planning
• Installing and configuring servers and network equipment
• Setting up hardware environments used for testing wind turbine systems
• Maintaining datacenter racks and managing cabling
• Supporting internal networks and remote connectivity to wind farm systems
• Collaborating with colleagues in Agile project teams

You will work closely with experienced engineers and technicians while gaining insight into Agile workflows and modern IT infrastructure practices.

How You’ll Make an Impact

In this role, you will support the infrastructure that enables development, testing, and operation of renewable energy technologies.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT infrastructure
• Supporting the setup and operation of testing environments for wind turbine technologies
• Maintaining and organizing datacenter hardware, rack space, and cabling
• Helping configure network devices and connectivity solutions
• Supporting troubleshooting and hardware diagnostics
• Contributing to reliable and efficient infrastructure supporting renewable energy systems

Your work will help ensure stable and efficient technical environments used by engineers and developers working on renewable energy solutions.

What You Bring

We are looking for someone who is curious, motivated, and eager to develop technical skills within IT infrastructure and hardware environments.

Ideally, you are:

• Has completed HHX, EUX, or an equivalent education with good results.
• Positive, proactive, and eager to learn
• Service-minded with a strong focus on user and customer needs
• Structured and able to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• A dedicated team player who can also work independently
• Comfortable communicating in English (spoken and written)

An interest in IT infrastructure, networking, servers, or hardware systems will help you succeed in this apprenticeship.

During the apprenticeship you will gain practical experience with:

• Datacenter infrastructure and rack management
• Server installation and system configuration
• Network setup, cabling, and troubleshooting
• Industrial IT/OT environments used in renewable energy systems
• Hardware diagnostics and technical support processes
• Agile teamwork and collaborative project workflows

About the Team

You will join a global and diverse team passionate about renewable energy and technological innovation. The team works with IT infrastructure that supports the development and testing of wind turbine technologies.

Our team culture encourages collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning. As an apprentice, you will work closely with experienced technicians and engineers who will mentor and support your development throughout the program.

As your technical skills grow, you will gradually take on more responsibility while building practical experience in a global technology organization.
