Lead and Coordinate the Payments team within the Purchase‑to‑Pay (P2P) end‑to‑end process, ensuring stable operations, high performance, and full compliance with internal controls and external requirements.

Oversee daily Payment’s operations, providing direction, prioritization, and decision‑making support, while acting as the primary escalation point for operational, control, and stakeholder topics.

Partner closely with regional and global stakeholders, including Accounts Payable, Cash & Bank, Master Data, Treasury, Human Resources and business stakeholders to resolve operational issues and continuously improve payment processes.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• end accountability for Payment’s operations, including payment execution, exception handling, risk management, and service delivery across entities and regions.
• Lead, develop, and coach the Payments team, including Analysts and Senior Analysts, fostering a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
• Own process governance, internal controls, and audit readiness for Payments, including approval workflows, SoD compliance, bank authorization matrices, documentation quality, and representation in internal/external audits and management reviews.
• value, or critical payment issues, ensuring timely resolution and effective stakeholder communication.
• outflow risk mitigation, and reporting/planning needs for the P2P Payments landscape
• Drive operational excellence and transformation, including automation, bank harmonization, ERP or payment platform changes, transition activities, and performance management via KPIs, service levels, risk indicators, and capacity planning.

What You Bring           

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in Payments, P2P, Accounts Payable, or Finance Operations, with proven leadership experience in a shared services or complex operational environment.
• end understanding of Payments processes, banking operations, internal controls, and risk management.
• Solid SAP expertise (FI, AP, Payment Programs); strong understanding of bank connectivity and payment platforms is highly desirable.
• Experience in people leadership, including performance management, coaching, onboarding, and team development.
• Demonstrated experience in process optimization, transitions, or transformation initiatives.
• management skills, with the ability to operate confidently across functions and seniority levels.
• Fluent business English; additional languages are an advantage.
