A Snapshot of your Day
As an AI Digitalization Associate, you will support the development and implementation of AI-driven and digital solutions to improve internal processes, efficiency, and decision-making across the EU&AF region. Working closely with the Internal Digitalization Manager, you will act as a bridge between business needs and technical execution combining hands-on solution development with close collaboration with IT. You will ensure all solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, and governance standards while being scalable and integration ready. In this role, you will take ownership of tasks end-to-end, proactively identifying opportunities, proposing solutions, and driving initiatives forward in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Support the design, development, and deployment of AI and automation solutions based on defined business use cases
- Collaborate closely with IT teams to ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, and data privacy standards, while remaining scalable and integration-ready
- Identify opportunities to digitize and optimize internal processes, improving efficiency, transparency, and user experience and develop prototypes and functional solutions using coding (e.g. Python) and low-code/no-code tools in line with enterprise standards
- Contribute to testing, iteration, and continuous improvement, ensuring clear and compliant technical and functional documentation
- Support data analysis initiatives to enhance reporting and enable better decision-making within governance frameworks
- Explore and assess new AI and automation opportunities, ensuring alignment with Siemens Energy’s digital and IT ecosystem
What You Bring
- Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, AI, Information Systems, or similar)
- Able to work flexibly (up to 40 hours/week or ~17 hours/week on average) alongside studies. Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Experience with at least one language such as Python, SQL, or JavaScript and understanding of machine learning principles, generative AI/LLMs, and automation or data pipelines.
- Ability to develop solutions within IT frameworks, adhering to security, architecture, and governance standards.
- Capable of translating business needs into structured technical solutions.
- Experience with AI tools, copilots, or cloud AI services and exposure to low-code / no-code platforms and previous academic or internship experience in AI or digitalization beneficial.

Working closely with business development, product management, engineering, and sales, the team ensures that customer needs are translated into impactful, scalable solutions. Together, you’ll champion the digital transformation of the energy sector, delivering solutions that matter.
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
