A Snapshot of Your Day

As the NU Development Manager (A65 Engineering), your day will be dynamic and multifaceted. You'll serve as the Engineering leader for all product development associated with the new-unit business, including Supply Chain Reactivation, Source & Method Changes, and PPQ support, as well as R&D and Package development. Your role will involve representing the product throughout Reactivation, PPQs, and acceptance criteria for concessions. You'll provide long-term support for Source & Method Change programs and support special dedicated projects such as the Front Bearing Housing. You'll be actively involved in the ideation process, triaging concepts and prioritizing measures for cost-out initiatives. You'll represent the product line at CRAB reviews, PDP reviews, and Gates. Additionally, you'll manage the package interface, including ICD, assessing changes, redesigns, and cost-out efforts. You'll provide product engineering support to package baselines and cost-out initiatives, ensuring service fleet experience, best practices, and service bulletins are incorporated into package design. Each day, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and efficiency, contributing significantly to Siemens Energy's mission of sustainable, reliable, and affordable energy.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Lead engineering efforts for all product development associated with the new-unit business.

  • Extensive experience in engineering leadership and product development.
  • Strong skills in managing Supply Chain Reactivation, Source & Method Changes, and PPQ support.
  • Proven ability to support special projects and drive cost-out initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
  • A proactive and innovative mindset, with a passion for driving sustainable energy solutions.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators.
