Plant Performance Optimization is a crucial area that ensures our turbines integrate seamlessly into the customer’s power plant, involving complex regulation and integration.
The demands from grid owners on our customers are increasing, and we currently have products for support services (Grid codes) that require project/region-specific adjustments in delivery projects and fine-tuning on-site. Some of these support services are mandatory today, while others are opportunities for our customers to sell as services to the grid owner.
Many of our customers currently generate power from multiple sources (turbines from different suppliers, diesel power plants, etc.) that need to work together connected to the power grid and, in some cases, operate in island mode if the power grid fails. In such installations, the demand for regulation increases, as does the need for system support for load sharing/shedding and the delivery of a Power Management System (PMS). This specialist area carries a central part in ensuring these products and solutions and you as specialist will have an important role in supporting implementation, tuning and ensure development of these products for the Service market.
