A Snapshot of Your Day

Join our dynamic Metrics & Tools development team within the Quality Control and Release Management Department! As a Student Software Developer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our Release Portal web application. Imagine collaborating closely with our Software Architect to implement essential functionalities while participating in Agile planning events, demos, and retrospectives. You will also work alongside the Product Owner to refine new requirements and break them down into actionable tasks, ensuring that our tools deliver transparency and efficiency for our software organization. Initially, you will work mostly in the office to foster strong teamwork and communication. Your contributions will directly impact our stakeholders, making your work both meaningful and rewarding.


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Collaborate with the Agile team to develop and enhance the Release Portal web application.
  • Work closely with the Software Architect to implement necessary functionalities efficiently.
  • Support the Product Owner in refining new requirements and translating them into actionable development tasks.
  • Contribute to team demos, showcasing the added value of your work to stakeholders.


What You Bring

  • Currently studying Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with backend technologies such as C#, JAVA, or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with frontend frameworks like Angular or React.
  • Basic understanding of Solid Principles, OOP concepts, and design patterns as well as foundational knowledge of relational databases, particularly Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Dedicated with a proactive approach to taking on new challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills.


About the team

You'll be working as part of an agile development team according to the SAFe (Scaled Agile) framework. The team is a mix of ~5-6 people working out of Denmark and India, and they deliver a key solution to enable the software releases for the whole operational technology software of SGRE.
