- Control system specification handling for Substation Automation projects as well as develop concept diagram for substation control system and communications interfaces including RTUs, HMIs, and IEDs
- Design of network structure and selection of components for substation automation systems
- Preparing technical and commercial customer offers for their technical field
- Perform Factory Acceptance Tests for control systems as well as creation of project specific technical documentation like functional design specifications, test protocols, signal lists, etc.
- Researching new technical solutions in the test field and additionally implementation of Cyber Security measures in the projects
- Supervision and quality assurance of sub-supplier during project execution as well as taking ownership for quality, time, and costs of own results
- Completed degree in electrical engineering, automation or similar
- Long term professional experience in engineering of HMI / SCADA systems for control systems and energy transmission & distribution
- Deep knowledge in HMI software applications and Substation Automation configuration tools like WinCC, Zenon, ZEE600, SICAM PAS, SICAM A8000 or similar. Knowledge of different vendors solutions is advantage
- Knowledge of process data handling and integration of subsystems in automation systems and of SCADA Communication Gateway configuration and connection to Remote Control Centers
- Good knowledge in communication protocols used in automation systems like IEC101, IEC104, IEC61850
- Very good understanding of Energy business and the way it operates and proficient communication skills in English and German
