A Snapshot of Your Day 

As a Data & Knowledge Management Specialist (m/f/d), you will turn Siemens Energy’s data strategy into practical processes, ensuring our company know‑how is systematically stored, sustainably preserved, and readily accessible. Your work forms the backbone for cross‑functional collaboration, fuels innovation, and enables further digital transformation and the use of AI solutions.Success requires strong process understanding, analytical skills, and abstract thinking to design concepts that transform complex information landscapes into structured, future‑proof knowledge systems.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Analyze the data landscape within Industrial Technology Research
  • Develop and implement operational standards that align with Siemens Energy’s data strategy
  • Define processes for storing and processing information for long-term accessibility
  • Select tools to support standardized workflows across various information formats
  • Establish a knowledge database to capture company know-how and key research activities
  • Enable cross-collaboration and prepare research information for digital transformation and AI solutions
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant fields (Information Management, Data Science, etc.)
  • Long term experience in data management, governance, or knowledge management in a research or engineering context
  • Strong understanding of data lifecycle principles and information architecture
  • Ability to translate strategic guidelines into actionable workflows
  • Familiarity with digital transformation and AI readiness of data
  • Excellent english communication skills and willingness to travel within Central Europe (~25%)
