Join our dynamic Energy Storage and Power Transmission team as an Electrical Engineering Intern! Imagine diving into exciting engineering projects where you’ll assist in designing and modifying electrical converter components. You will support laboratory tests, analyze data, and contribute to troubleshooting activities, all while gaining hands-on experience in the wind energy sector. This internship is your opportunity to apply your academic knowledge to real-world challenges, helping to drive innovation and sustainability in energy solutions.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- You will assist senior engineers in designing and modifying electrical converter components for energy storage and power transmission systems.
- Support the setup, execution, and monitoring of laboratory tests on electrical components and systems under direct supervision.
- Contribute to the analysis of test data and simulation results to validate system performance and identify potential issues.
- Participate in troubleshooting activities for hardware and software issues within the test environment.
What You Bring
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a closely related field.
- A foundational understanding of electrical principles and eagerness to apply academic knowledge to practical challenges.
- Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink for data analysis and technical documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
- Proficiency in English. Danish is a plus.
About the team
You will join the Energy Storage and Power Transmission team within Offshore Technology. The team plays a key role in developing and integrating electrical systems that support next generation offshore wind turbines. We work cross-functionally across engineering, project management, installation and marine disciplines, and collaborate closely with suppliers to deliver technically robust, scalable and cost-effective solutions.
