A Snapshot of Your Day
Join our global Quality team at Siemens Energy Gas Services, where you'll collaborate across various organizations and locations to reduce and prevent nonconformances. Your role will be dynamic, supporting Gas Services in achieving quality objectives and becoming a leader in quality, customer satisfaction, and EHS.
Depending on business needs and your skills, you'll identify systemic process issues, guide different GS organizations on nonconformance management, lead or participate in strategic quality improvement projects, and drive systematic improvements for nonconformance prevention. You'll work with quality professionals, data analytics teams, and business experts as a creative problem solver and passionate quality advocate.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Based on your specific skill set and business needs, your responsibilities may include:
- Collaborating with local organizations to analyze nonconformance causes and drive preventive actions
- Evaluating data on systemic issues, recommending improvements, and launching corrective and preventive actions
- Leading or participating in quality improvement projects or special topics as requested by management
- Conducting internal audits and assessments to identify improvement opportunities and propose measures at both local and global levels
- Representing your team in local quality meetings and coordinating related actions and tasks
What You Bring
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 5-8 years of experience working within multi-cultural, multi-location, and multi-disciplinary teams
- Prior experience with quality tools and knowledge in areas such as root-cause facilitation, auditing and process management.
- Strong project management skills with experience leading projects in a globally dispersed team environment. Project financials/reporting experience is a must.
- Exceptional communicator who collaborates effectively and builds strong relationships across teams and leadership levels
- Self-motivated quality advocate, results-oriented, and comfortable working independently with strategic guidance and coaching
Preferred
- Energy industry
- Six Sigma/LEAN, Black Belt, Green Belt
- Artificial intelligence (AI) products and concepts
About the Team
Our global GS EQS team supports Siemens Energy Gas Services with nonconformance management, data transparency, analytics, and continuous quality improvements. Based in Europe and the U.S., we offer in-depth QM expertise, from auditing and process improvement methodologies to root cause analysis and data analytics.
About Gas Services
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
