A Snapshot of Your Day
•You will lead the establishment and development of the Supplier Quality team in China, supporting the full GS Distributed business (AGT, MGT, SGT, GCO). 
•Building the team from the ground up, you will ensure robust supplier quality performance across the regional supply base while supporting global project execution. 
•You will drive supplier quality excellence by managing supplier qualification, performance, and non-conformance processes, while acting as a key regional interface to global SQ and cross-functional teams including Procurement, Engineering, Project and Manufacturing. 
•In this role, you will balance regional ownership with global alignment, ensuring that local supplier strategies and execution contribute to overall GS-D business objectives.
•In the mid-term, this role is expected to expand to manage Asia Pacific regional supply base.

 How You’ll Make an Impact 
•Build and scale a high-performing Supplier Quality team in China with clear governance and alignment to global SQ standards 
•Lead supplier quality performance across the region through qualification, performance management, and sustainable issue resolution (NCR/QN, CAPA) 
•Ensure supplier readiness and reliable project execution by proactively managing quality risks impacting cost, delivery, and schedule
•Act as the key regional SQ interface, collaborating closely with Procurement, Engineering, Project Quality, and Manufacturing 
•Strengthen alignment with global SQ by deploying standard processes, tools, and best practices while adapting to regional needs 
•Prepare the organization for future growth by expanding capabilities and supporting increasing regional sourcing scope 

What You Bring 
•Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Materials, Industrial Engineering, or similar .
•Proven leadership experience, ideally including building or scaling teams 
•Ability to operate effectively in a regional and global matrix organization 
•Strong stakeholder management skills across internal and external interfaces 
•Willingness to travel domestically and globally up to 40%
•Preferred Knowledge / Skills Experience in gas turbines or rotating equipment industry Strong knowledge of supplier qualification and industrialization (PPQ, FAI, etc.) 
•Experience with supplier performance systems and structured problem-solving (8D, RCA, FMEA) Experience working with regional supply bases in China and global supplier networks
