A Snapshot of Your Day

Join us as an EQS Specialist (Sustainability) in our Gas Services Business Area, where you’ll be at the forefront of driving our Sustainability Strategy Core Goals. Your day will be filled with implementing and enhancing activities like the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSDR) and Do No Significant Harm (DNSH). You’ll develop strategies to establish key performance indicators and reports, ensuring alignment with Siemens Energy’s Sustainability Strategy.

How you can make an impact:

Representing GS in Corporate EQS meetings for Sustainability topics
Maintaining, developing, and implementing GS Sustainability processes, as required (EU-Taxonomy, CSRD)
Providing specialist expertise and guidance to the GS on environmental compliances
Acting as Business Area Contact for EQS related topics
Delivering and coordinating improvements in line with Strategic Sustainability Goals
Building up and maintaining EQS sustainability network in GS
Developing and retaining effective relationships with key internal stakeholders to minimize risk
Identify and translate sustainability reporting demands into business practice

What you bring:
 
  • University degree or similar
  • Professional qualifications and experience in Sustainability and/or Environment & Energy Management
  • Good knowledge on sustainability reporting directives (EU-Taxonomy, CSRD)
  • Thorough understanding of relevant Sustainability business concepts and their application
  • Professional qualifications and experience in environmental management (e.g. IEMA)
  • Advanced English knowledge. Hungarian and German would be a plus

Being part of a high-motivated and inspired team, the EQS Specialist will also focus on fostering a collaborative and transparent work environment, encouraging team spirit and open communication. This may involve actively participating in team meetings, sharing insights and best practices, and being receptive to feedback and suggestions for improvement.
Overall, a day in the life of an EQS Specialist in GS involves a mix of research, coordination, collaboration, and teamwork, all geared towards advancing sustainability goals and driving positive change within the organization.
