A Snapshot of Your Day
We are looking for a highly experienced Customer Solution Architect to join our Omnivise Solutions team based at one of our offices around Europe. Reporting to the Head of Omnivise Solutions Architecture, this challenging and rewarding role will translate customer business and operational needs into technical end-to-end OES solution concepts, combining Siemens Energy’s automation, digitalization and service capabilities. The role requires strong customer engagement, solution design, sales and tendering support, and the ability to align different products, engineering workflows, services and regional teams around feasible customer outcomes.
Role Mission
Act as the trusted advisor for customers and regional teams, translating business challenges into scalable OES solutions by combining Siemens Energy’s domain expertise, installed base, service capabilities, control systems, digital applications, and AI and cybersecurity portfolio.
How You’ll Make an Impact
This is a customer-facing, technically grounded solution architecture role. The key responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Develop end-to-end OES solution architectures spanning Omnivise-T3000, Omnivise applications, cybersecurity, AI & analytics, connectivity & edge, and fleet and plant optimization.
- Translate customer requirements into clear technical solution concepts, design principles, scope boundaries and implementation roadmaps.
- Act as the interface between customers, regional sales, product management, engineering, service and delivery teams.
- Shape technical and commercial solution concepts supporting bids, strategic opportunities and customer proposals.
- Drive value-based solution design by linking customer KPIs to measurable business outcomes.
- Identify portfolio gaps and provide structured feedback into the OES roadmap.
- Support regional rollout and scaling of OES offerings across priority markets and customer segments.
- Represent Siemens Energy as a thought leader in digitalization, OT modernization and energy transformation.
- Proactively promote innovation, standardization, risk identification, cybersecurity awareness and safety management across OES customer solutions.
What You Bring
- Degree/Diploma or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Digitalization, Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Strong experience in customer-facing solution architecture, pre-sales engineering, customer engineering or technical consulting.
- Deep understanding of power generation, industrial automation, OT environments or energy IT environments.
- Demonstrated experience in automation products such as Omnivise-T3000, WinCC OA and other SCADA and Digitalization solutions/ products for an OT environment.
- Ability to bridge business requirements, technical implementation, product feasibility, service execution and commercial value.
- Experience supporting sales pursuits, proposals, executive customer discussions and cross-functional delivery alignment.
- Understanding of cybersecurity, cloud, edge, industrial connectivity and AI/analytics concepts would be an advantage.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and workshop facilitation skills.
- Willingness to travel upon need.
