Working student – Market & Competitor Intelligence

If you are a fast learner, structured and have a passion for data, and an interest in working with multi-cultural and multi-discipline teams, join our Corporate Strategy team as working student – in Vejle, Denmark or Erlangen, Germany with the possibility to work remotely on occasion (min. 12 months engagement)

A Snapshot of Your Day

Your day will begin with aligning efforts between key internal collaborators, including business areas and IT, to enhance our data architecture. You will then shift your focus to keeping tabs on the latest market developments and news within the Energy Industry, ensuring our strategies remain pioneering and advised.

Your afternoon will be dedicated to data collection, where you will harness this information to create and develop important analytics and insights. Following this, you will compile your findings into comprehensive reports and analyses.

Throughout the day, you will also engage in various ad hoc strategic projects, providing your expertise and support to ensure their success and alignment with our overarching business goals. This dynamic role ensures that no two days are the same, offering continuous learning and impactful contributions across the organization.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Ensure relevant market data is collected, analyzed and presented in a consistent and efficient manner.
  • Liaise with data providers and maintain accuracy in databases.
  • Increase data quality through the management of our data architecture project
  • Conduct Market analyses and data analytics to draw important insights for our executive management.
  • Create presentations for colleagues and internal collaborators on activities, research, and results.
  • Collaborate and have a close communication with the strategy manager and with other internal teams
  • Support relevant presentations and ad hoc analyses

What You Bring

  • Master Student of economics / sustainability / finance / data management or related area
  • Strong skills in Office (especially Power Point and Excel)
  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English
  • Good communicator and networker
  • Affection for numbers and data
  • Knowledge of Tableau a benefit
  • Independent working style and willingness to take up responsibilities.
  • Structured and detail oriented, with the ability to independently work towards deadlines.
