A Snapshot of Your Day
Together, we develop and maintain a highly specialized product portfolio for the control and protection of HVDC and FACTS installations. This is a significant contribution to the success of the energy transition in Germany and around the world.
As an expert in the Secure Development Lifecycle, you support the development of our systems by evaluating requirements and overseeing as well as developing the process landscape. Above all, you accompany and support colleagues in applying these processes and impart the necessary knowledge. You drive the introduction of IEC 62443-4-1 while taking existing structures and overarching processes into account. You are part of the development team and work on development and product maintenance projects together with very experienced and motivated colleagues, using agile methods in a modern IT and office environment.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- You support the implementation of identified requirements and the application of relevant processes in ongoing development projects.
- You review and update requirements, for example based on IEC 62443, the Cyber Resilience Act, and comparable national and international regulations.
- You drive the introduction of a “secure development process” in accordance with IEC 62443-4-1.
- You contribute to the continuous improvement of existing processes and support colleagues in their application, for example through training or coaching.
What You Bring
- Successfully completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable field.
- Several years of professional experience in the secure development of embedded (OT) systems.
- In-depth knowledge of security standards, e.g. IEC 62443, and an understanding of the software development process (GitLab, CI/CD, DevOps, etc.), especially with regard to security in the critical infrastructure environment.
- Strong moderation skills, including in large groups, e.g. moderating discussions on process changes with many interfaces.
- Business-fluent German and English skills.
- Enjoying interaction with colleagues, continuously raising awareness of process-related topics, and sharing knowledge.
