A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Head of Sales Latin America for industrial steam turbines (f/m/d) you will work on interesting and challenging opportunities in a highly motivated, team. You will be managing sales activates in the allocated region.


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Heading and motivating a team of sales managers for the allocated region
  • Support of the local team during sales activities
  • Leading the team by example
  • Selling and account management activities
  • Face-to-face sales to new customers and cross/up/repeat sales to existing customers
  • Assessing customer needs and suggesting appropriate products, services, and/or solutions
  • Developing medium to long-term sales plans and preparing strategies to protect, grow, and diversify the relationship with targeted customers


What You Bring

  • Proven leadership experience managing teams and consistently achieving defined sales targets as part of compensation.
  • Mechanical Engineering degree (or similar) with 8+ years of sales experience, including knowledge of turbomachinery and related equipment.
  • Strong understanding of key South American industries (Sugar & Ethanol, Metal & Mining, Pulp & Paper, etc.) and ability to read/analyze technical journals and financial reports.
  • Skilled in building long-term relationships with customers, peers, and internal functions across Siemens Energy.
  • Effective presenter to senior management, executive groups, public audiences, and key clients; fluent in Spanish and English, with Portuguese as a plus.
  • Strong logical/scientific problem-solving abilities, trend and market identification skills, and availability for 40%+ travel across South America and occasionally intercontinental.


About the Team

Our Transformation of Industry division is decarbonizing the industrial sector. Increasing electrification and efficiency are key and demand for green H2 and derivative fuels will rise. We enable decarbonization of the industrial sector and the transition to sustainable processes, building on a strong industrial customer base, a global network, diverse technologies, and integrated execution capabilities.

The specific and existing team takes care of the sales of industrial steam turbines in Latin America in different industries up to a size of 250 MWe.
