A Snapshot of Your Day

You will be part of a highly experienced global team of Legal Counsels and Contract Managers shaping the future of the energy landscape. Each day, you will support the complex contractual needs of Siemens Energy’s national and international EPC project portfolio. Your work includes analyzing commercial contracts, identifying risks, drafting and negotiating agreements, and guiding project and site management through contractual challenges. In a rapidly evolving energy market with rising global demand, you will play a key role in safeguarding Siemens Energy’s rights and enabling successful project execution.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Provide contractual advice and support to project and site management during the execution of customer contracts, consortium agreements, and sub‑contracts.
  • Support claim and change‑order processes, including reviewing and drafting relevant correspondence.
  • Identify technical, commercial, and contractual aspects needed to develop project‑specific claim strategies.
  • Pursue and defend claims by gathering project records, documentation, and relevant facts.
  • Support settlement negotiations and collaborate with legal teams to substantiate facts for arbitration or alternative dispute resolution.
  • Perform or supervise quantum and delay analyses to establish causation for events impacting schedule or scope.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical field, business administration, law, or quantity surveying (or equivalent qualifications).
  • 8+ years of experience in contract and claim management, including contract analysis, drafting, or legal/commercial work on large‑scale projects.
  • Strong familiarity with international EPC and construction contract terms (e.g., FIDIC, Orgalime, NEC, MF1).
  • Ability to negotiate fluently in English.
  • Experience working within internationally staffed teams and with international contractual partners.

Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
