Siemens Energy’s Winston Technology Center in Rural Hall, NC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as Production Manager overseeing advanced gas turbine component repairs. WTC provides over 50% of the OEM large gas turbine component repairs for Siemens Energy. This role is critical to ensuring the efficient, high-quality, and timely repair of turbine components such as vanes, blades, and ring segments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing or repair operations, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of gas turbine technologies.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Oversee daily production activities for gas turbine component repair, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and delivery standards.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to reduce cost and lead time.
  • Utilize KPIs and production metrics to report out on performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to resolve technical issues and optimize workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, customer specifications, and internal procedures.
  • Support customer audits and provide technical insights when needed.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in production management or supervision, preferably in aerospace or power generation industries.
  • Strong knowledge of gas turbine components and repair processes (e.g., welding, coating, machining, NDT).
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
  • Experience with ERP systems and production scheduling tools is a plus.
  • Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
