A Snapshot of Your Day

Provide support to service center operations for the delivery of completed repair projects on time, with high quality, accurate and timely documentation, invoicing, and direct administrative support to repair center management and staff. Position supports the Operations Manager with timely and professional business functions such as invoicing, filing business and project records, editorial updates in production meetings, and maintaining of office supplies and services for the repair center. Also, in this position is    professional liaison with clients and guests, monitoring and allowing proper access to the repair center while maintaining vigilance to the safety and security of gates and doors.

How You’ll Make an Impact  

  • Perform administrative support and invoicing of jobs to include freight data & closing actions
  • Attend weekly production meetings & provide editorial support for projects undergoing review
  • Maintain oversight at the Front Desk for access of doors and gates during normal business hours
  • Produce standard project books (new shop routers); retain completed digital copies in share drive
  • Assist in coordinating maintenance and repairs of the office and building (EMCOR, Cintas, etc.)
  • Coordinate lunches, learning events, and meetings to support planned business at the LASC

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree or 3 years work experience in a customer service role or technical support.
  • Strong understanding of business operations, invoicing, records, filing, and security protocols.
  • Experience with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Teams, and Invoicing Systems.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with Siemens Energy systems and processes.
  • Acquainted with rotating equipment (steam turbines, reciprocating & turbo-compressors, valves).

This job [is/may be] based in Rancho Dominguez, California.   Siemens Energy offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay.  Details regarding our benefits can be found here: https://benefitsatenergy.com/thinking-of-joining.html.  The base salary range for this position in Rancho Dominguez, California is <$32/hour – $35/hour>

 

Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, certifications, and other business needs. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual’s qualifications.
